Matric Results set to be released next year according to these dates. Following the conclusion of the matric examinations on 28 November 2024, the Minister of Basic Education, Ms Siviwe Gwarube, will announce the outcome of the examinations on 15 January 2025 and results is expected to be released to candidates on 16 January 2025.

There may be technical issues that may prevent NSC candidates from checking their Matric results when it is released however, candidates must ensure that names and identity numbers reflect correctly on their statement of results and report any required corrections to the Department before 30th August 2024. The Department will announce registration deadlines for examination checks, remarks and rewrites and other important dates.
